Hi!
I just finished a new print today so I wanted to show you! It doesn’t have a solid title yet. Maybe something about running away to the hills and rivers?
Super exciting! It’s a woodblock print, I used a board. It’s reduction and multiple blocks. It’s also pretty big, almost a foot tall and its long, umm, because its a board. I almost always hand print these days. I guess I’m practicing for when I don’t have a studio for a while? That’s happening pretty soon.
Here are some pictures! They are cruddy cellphone pics as usual. if you want to see good ones let me know. They are pretty linear so you can get an idea of my process. i forgot to take a picture while i was using the electric chisel, that part was exciting. I need to clean the prints up, trim and stuff. And I may make one into a book. Not sure. Yay!
